weber 32/36 DGV 5A caburettor...

at last, some significant stuff in my car... kekekeke...
i've alwiz heard of weber carbs performing wonders in carbie cars... eager to try it out so... surf around DCM forum, found someone selling it at reasonable price (rm200)... apa lagi, angkat la... hehehehe...

got it last year december in ipoh... its a downdraft 32/36 DGV 5A manual choke weber carburettor... type of carburettor, progressive carb...
more info about it: http://www.redlineweber.com/html/Types/making_the_right_choice.htm

kept it under my bed for 3 months plus, coz saving money to buy the adaptor n installation...

on March 7, 2007... went to Ramly Motorworks somewhere in old klang road...

removing my standard Aisan carburettor...

carbless.... this is how my intake manifold looks like... 4-2-1 connection, similar to my extractor/headers/exhaust manifold...

HOTBITS... kekeke... no wonder so expensive...

installed.... nice??...

primary jetting has changed for better low end torque... overall, performance is vr good at wide open throttle... at initial response, after rejetting, is a little better than standard carb...

till now, i'm still learning to tune it myself... as sifoo unker fred said, take weber as a hobby... dont expect it to perform well once u plug it in ur car... it needs regular fine tuning so u can balance urself between performance and fuel consumption... after all, fuel + air = power.... need more power, u must pump in more fuel n air....

total cost: rm500
weber carburettor: rm200
adaptor + installation: rm300

currently running filterless... i've enquired Speedworks for K&N filter suitable for weber DGV.... they quoted me rm400... i was like, "oklar, thanks for the info, bye...".... hahaha....

free free i go machine shop ask them custom an adaptor to fit my K&N filter onto the weber DGV.... see lar when i free... hahahaha....
