mirage C62A rear disc brake...

prices for rear disc brake are soaring... especially on demand plug n play sets such as mirage, i must get hold on one before the price gets way too extreme...

so, here it is... mirage c62a halfcut condition...

yaya, it doesnt look good... but nvm, give it some time, it will be a good workhorse....

anyway it is... yesterday i brought it to ismail workshop to get it fixed... so, first step of coz is to remove the rear brake drum set....

then, u put this disc protection plate in first... it is secured to the lower arm by 4 bolts...

next up, install the hub together with the bearing inside...

then, the "rusted" disc...

last but not least, the calipers... brake pads still considerably thick... hehe...

this is how the completed lego looks like...

same installation applied on both side...

next is the brake hose connection and the ebrake cable linkage... my mechanic used back the mirage brake hose as it is still in good condition and it is plug n play... as for the ebrake cable, it turns out that the bracket holding the cable is abit short, as shown in the photo below...

my mechanic custom made an extension for the bracket like this...

tada... ebrake cable problem fixed...

the remaining mirage axle can send to scrap metal junkyard adi...

jeng jeng jeng...
